Our Goals and Beliefs

Our ultimate goal with Axis is to set a tone of community, all while encouraging a higher sense of self-esteem in each teen through the love of Christ Jesus. 

We envision and wish to push these teens to go beyond their normal levels of dedication. Whether this be dedication to themselves (self-love – Psalm139:13-15); dedication to their parents, friends, and family (loyalty – 1 Peter 4:8); dedication to their school work (responsibility – Luke 16:10); dedication to future jobs (dependability – 1 Corinthians 3:7-9); or most importantly, dedication to their faith in God (reverence – Colossians 3:23). 

We named our youth group “Axis” for a reason–so that it may be what these younger people rotate and depend on! There would be nothing greater than to empower our teens with God’s axis of love, so that they may feel empowered to go out into the world and do the same for others (1 Timothy 4:12).
